After more than two years away, and on my debut in the HEC Clio Rally Trophy, Axel Coronado and I won the Rally5 class at the Eurol Hellendoorn Rally — the biggest rally in the Netherlands.

Friday night. The crowds were so big that the start was delayed, so the first six stages ran in the dark. Two years of rust to shake off — third in class overnight.
Saturday. Ten more stages, from the old Luttenbergring circuit to the half-gravel Eelden test. The pace came back, the fastest times followed, and when the leader went off at Luttenbergring and Daarle, we took the lead and the win.

The driver
Born to compete
I grew up in Gualeguaychú, Argentina, where rally found me early. From dirt roads to the European stage — this sport has been my life since I can remember.
At 25, I packed everything and moved to Europe. In 2021, my first full ERC season with Toksport WRT, I won in Poland and Hungary and finished runner-up in the Clio Trophy by Toksport WRT (ERC4) by just two points. The following year I came back stronger: in 2022 I won in Azores, Canarias, Latvia and Roma, and won the Clio Trophy championship.
In 2023, Renault made me their official ERC factory driver and I had the honour of debuting the Clio Rally3 — Renault's first 4WD rally car — in international competition.

The official itinerary: every stage, its length and the time the first car is due. Friday runs entirely in the dark, Saturday from late morning to sunset.
All times below are for the first car. Cars leave at one-minute intervals, so a car in the sixties — mine is #64 — passes roughly an hour later. Add your driver’s number in minutes and you are close.

Plan your rally day
Service park
The service park and rally centre are at Avonturenpark Hellendoorn — the rally is back home this year. That is where you see the cars up close and the mechanics at work. From 08:00 on Friday you need a wristband to get in.
Tickets & parking
Wristbands for Saturday only or for both days are sold through the official ticket shop. Children under 12 enter the service park free, and parking at the rally car park is free.
The stages are free
Access to the special stages costs nothing this edition. Watch only from the marked spectator zones, keep behind the tape and follow the marshals — never stand on the outside of a corner or below the road level.
Before you leave home
Dress for Dutch September weather and wear boots: many spectator points sit in fields and forest, and Friday’s six stages all run in the dark. Check the forecast, and leave earlier than you think — roads close well before the first car.
